Republic, which is the latest addition to La Cienega's Restaurant Row has officially opened after hosting its share of recent Oscar parties. "Republic's Gabe Morales serves up bacon-wrapped bass and a veal porterhouse amid waterfalls and fire pits, but it's the 20-foot-tall, 1,450-bottle wine tower that turns heads. That and the celebrity diners—Charlize Theron and Mary J. Blige have already made appearances."
